PGC’s 4th annual Polar Summer Boot Camp was another great success!
Thank you again to our 29 participants from around the globe for your time, engagement, and enthusiasm. We had a very competitive pool of applicants this year from which came a very impressive group from diverse backgrounds in research and logistics.
Over the course of 4 days, our participants learned from PGC staff covering topics regarding geospatial data, maps, and satellite imagery and DEM automation techniques. Exchanges were insightful and dynamic during dedicated periods of one-on-one support, as well as in group discussions.
We also had terrific fun outside the classroom touring downtown Minneapolis by bicycle and watching a Twins baseball game.
We look forward to hosting another group of participants from our user community next summer!
