What I Do

I recently joined the PGC team and although fresh like the polar air, I am responsible for managing science project support, coordinating data requests, providing geospatial expertise for our core users as well as performing GIS and Remote Sensing analyses. In addition, I help supervise undergraduate and graduate research assistants and participate in community outreach and education.

Education
  • M.Sc. Geographic Information Science for Development and Environment, Clark University, 2016
  • B.A. Geography & Art History, Macalester College, 2009
Interests

As a born and raised Minnesotan, I know no bad weather and can be found outside when not in the office. I enjoy bicycling, snowboarding, camping, and geocaching. When indoors, I am typically reading, painting, cooking, or building forts. My fond of travel has exceedingly grown after living abroad in Asia and Latin America. All said adventures are enjoyed exponentially more with my husband, Josue, and two daughters.
