The Arctic science support and resource landscape has changed nearly as much as the environment itself in recent years due to major changes in the federal funding and community support ecosystem. Join us at the Navigating the New Arctic Annual Community Meeting this fall for the Arctic Community Resource Coalition, an interactive session designed to connect participants with organizations, resources, and networks that support Arctic science and engagement.
Whether your organization supports fieldwork, data access, education, partnerships, workforce development, or community engagement, we encourage you to share how you help strengthen the Arctic research ecosystem. Selected presenters will deliver a brief live demonstration highlighting how participants can access and benefit from their resources, followed by collaborative breakout discussions. More details below.
We welcome submissions from organizations, programs or initiatives serving students, early-career researchers, established investigators, Indigenous partners, educators, and Arctic communities.

Session Title: Arctic Community Resource Coalition
Session Description: The Arctic science support and resource landscape has changed nearly as much as the environment itself in recent years due to major changes in the federal funding and community support ecosystem. This interactive session will feature brief live demonstrations from organizations and resource providers showcasing a wide range of pathways for engaging in Arctic science and community activities. Following demonstrations, participants will work in breakout groups through realistic Arctic research scenarios and discussions to collaboratively identify resources, organizations, and connections that could help address specific challenges and needs. Designed for students, early career, and established community members alike, the session aims to strengthen awareness, accessibility, and connections across the Arctic science community.
