What I Do
I couple my scientific background with my development experience to create tools and visualizations that help make the massive amounts of imagery and data at the Polar Geospatial Center more easily accessible.

Interests
I love biking, hiking, climbing, snowboarding, canoeing, camping, reading, looking at the stars (or clouds!), and photography – especially macro! Spreading the awe and appreciation that the stories revealed by science can bring is very important to me. I do this through science outreach activities and building tools like the Flyover Country mobile app, which answers the question ‘what am I flying over’ by providing information about the natural history of the landscapes below any flight. I also work in climate and environmental justice activism.
