Diego Osorio

Geospatial Support Assistant

I am responsible for assisting polar researchers from other institutions in obtaining geospatial data, creating custom map products, managing long-term projects, interacting with research computing resources, and more.

  • Master of Geographic Information Science, University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Expected May 2023
  • B.S Environmental Engineering, Universidad de los Andes, Bogota, Colombia, 2019

I love to exercise (running, biking, working out) and practice extreme sports. I am also really passionate about dancing to Latin music (salsa, bachata, merengue, etc.), and reading. In my spare time in the U.S., I like to meet people from different countries and be in a constant intercultural exchange.
